AND ALREADY SOME EXTRA INFORMATION… In the first newsletter, to be published at the beginning of February of 2010, we will offer more information about the seminar, the venue, the hotels, the dinner, the social program and much more. At this moment, we offer you some relevant news about the seminar, which can be important for you in making the decision to come to Amsterdam. The seminar will be held in Conference-centre/Theater De Meervaart, in Amsterdam (take a look at www.meervaart.nl). The venue can easily be reached by train and tram (from the airport and the centre of Amsterdam). We will provide a list with suitable hotels in the neighbour-hood of the venue, at your choice. On Thursday evening, there will be a ‘candlelight dinner’ on boats through the canals of Amsterdam: sightseeing and dining at the same time… We will have an organized social program, with different themes, on Saturday June, 18. There will be a pre seminar on Wednesday, June 16, as part of the project. But we will also organize as part of this activity a number of workshops, to discuss actual developm-ents in the EU. If you are interested in the subjects of those workshops, you are welcome to take part in one or two of them. One of the aims of this seminar is to investigate the possibility of founding a world-wide network of institutions, involved in ‘short higher education programs’. At the end of Friday, there will be a special meeting on this initiative. So, if you want to engage with other experts in this field, come to Amsterdam!
